Fifty years of work learning and performing the 32 sonatas of Beethoven have led to this extraordinary 9 CD set of a live performance of the Beethoven Marathon. During the Marathon, Gary Goldschneider performs the Beethoven sonatas in the order of their composition, giving audiences a unique perspective of the composer’s entire creative life, from early thru middle to the final late works. Beethoven Marathons have been presented in Philadelphia, San Francisco, Amsterdam and Nevada City, California. Gary is the only classical pianist in the world who performs this 12 hour concert in this manner.
