Two videos made by French TV in the summer of 2003:

- A video report on Le Poudrier, a new arts center right on the Vienne river in Limoges. An old mill has been converted to a concert hall with painstaking craftsmanship. Surrounded by two hundred year old trees the center features an outdoor amphitheater and two beautiful chateaus.

- A video report on composer Gary Goldschneider, showing him at his home and its surroundings on the edge of the Plateau de Millevaches in the Limousin district of France. He discusses his music and why he spends time there composing and working in his garden.

Call Me Ishmael

Call Me Ishmael is a 2-hour musical theater piece for soloists, chorus, 31 piece orchestra, dancers and multi-media. It was begun in November of 1987 in Amsterdam and completed in March of 2003 in Amstelveen and in France by composer Gary Goldschneider, who also wrote the libretto using text taken directly from Herman Melville’s monumental classic of American literature, Moby Dick.
